Reception is Today
As promised earlier in the week, I'm inviting guests to leave a comment today (before midnight, Pacific Daylight time). I'll take the names, toss them in a hat, and choose a person. That person will win the artist's proof of my first Gocco print.
The on-line reception is in honor of my exhibit opening tonight at Lunaria Gallery. If you join us in person, you can also post a comment here and participate in the drawing.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi, Brenda. Sounds like a good reason for me to de-lurk. Good luck with the exhibit!
I found your blog a week or two ago, while I was doing research on gocco (I'm a newbie!).

Brenda, this is a great idea! I certainly wish I could be there in person, but I send my good thoughts your way. Break a leg.

What a cool idea! I wonder if a quilt maker could do this as well! Have fun this evening!

I didn't come across this post until after your deadline. But I wanted to let you know what a neat idea I think this is. Many authors now are going on virtual blog tours and I often host them at my writing blog. What you're doing is a really interesting twist on this idea. The Internet is opening up so many opportunities for promotion and simply connecting with others. May you have great success.

Just a quick link to the post on my author blog. I simply had to share what you're doing.

I missed the deadline, but love the internet opening twist and hope the in-person opening was fabulous!

I also missed your deadline but what a great idea! I have my first opening tonight and your post has been a new lightbulb for this newbie. I hope all went fantabulous with your opening. The Gocco piece is very striking and I'll definitely be back to view more!

Hi Brenda, what a clever idea! I'm fairly new to blogging. I set a blog up last year, my first being a painting of a dog named "Scooter". I love your artwork, and I'll check back often to see what you're up to. Thanks for sharing this idea with others. I may try it. Nicki Thompson

Hi Brenda,
Just checking back in to let you know that you inspired me! I am hosting my own virtual reception at my fledgling fiber art-to-wear blog.
Thanks so much for sharing this great idea!
