On-line Reception & Drawing

Some of you have written me about my show opening on Friday and sent good wishes since you won't be able to attend. Today I had a brilliant idea: I'll have an on-line reception!

Stop by this blog on Friday, Sept. 7th, and add a comment to Friday's post. I'll put your name in the hat for a drawing. The winner will get the Artist's Proof for Blue Gestures.

I appreciate those of you who read my blog and add comments, so this works out for both of us.

I'm currently working on my next Gocco print and opening an ETSY shop. Be on the look out for another drawing for my ETSY opening.

Wow the Orb Series is so cool. Love your use of colour No 7 is my personal fave, I'd have loved to see it all in real life but this is a good alternative. Well done. Your books looks amazing too. It gets great customer reviews. Bask in the glory - well deserved. I hope my Gocco arrives this week, I got one on ebay for my ceramics among other things. I hope to get my three sons all of whom have artistic abilities, to design their own tshirts and when they get good, maybe try to get a little etsy shop together.

Stopped by from the ArtBizPromo group. I think an on'line opening is a FABULOUS idea! Granted, there's nothing like being able to see/touch the real deal, but for those who just can't make it, it makes them still be able to toast the celebration. Way to go Creative Brainstormer!

Hi Brenda - thanks for responding on the artbizblog to my query....I'm up earlier than you so in case I don't get back to wish you a happy opening on your new post today: Happy Opening! By the time you're up and posting I'll be running around tuning things up for First Friday at 2 spots and then at the openings this evening so that pretty much does in the rest of my blog visiting today. BTW your work is fascinating! I plan to come back and browse more.

I’ve already gushed all over you about how excited and proud of you I am.
Congrats again. I’m sure I’m not as excited as you, but I am excited. You have lots of positive thoughts coming from Texas.

As you know, your Christmas cards are our favorites. We just got to teach the wife how to wait before opening them. She is so impatience when she sees your address. I see it now, a line of Marks Christmas cards…and we have some of the originals. Priceless. How much do they go for on eBay? Kidding!

I no longer use my Gocco printer, yet I keep it. :-) afraid of Murphy's Law will come into effect, in case, one day the mood should strike to use it again.
It blows my mind at the level to which you and some other artists have reached using this machine, that originally was intended for childen.
