My digital camera has changed how I walk. Now I'm constantly looking for color combinations, interesting compositions and things I haven't noticed before I walked around with a camera. One thing that consistently draws my attention is flowers.

What to do with the pictures. . . I've been doing it to look at color combinations and patterns (to use for painting ideas). I will also use some for Gocco designs. I have three Gocco designs in the works. The backgrounds are sashiko-inspired and the focal points are flowers, leaves and dragonflies.
I wish you all could come to the show, too! At least we have contact this way : )

I know what you mean! What do you do with all the flower pictures though? I'm thinking of making a sort of coffeetable book, like this
